Calculation method and scope

Sun/Moon positions and apparent sunrise use Astronomy Engine. A linear Lahiri ayanamsa approximation anchors Nakshatra, Yoga and Moon sign. Timings are approximate and may differ from regional Panchangs. This release supports India, 2020–2035.

Values are the elements active at sunrise; end times can fall on the next civil date. Festivals, lunar months, Hora and Choghadiya are not included in this release. Confirm ritual dates and Muhurat with a trusted Panchang or your pandit.
